Missing You 相思

You're always on my mind, eventhough I did not tell you that "I miss you".

Quit that Unrequited Love! (Part 1/2) - Silent Hint 摆脱单恋! (1/2部) - 沉默的暗示

What if I say falling in love is easy? Don't agree? Well, compare to confessing, now do you think that loving some one is way much easier? Whether you agree or deny, there's a point that I want to bring out, confessing is the hardest part, mainly due to the self ego.

4 major reasons why confession is difficult:
1) It's a good news that it is accepted, but what if I am being rejected? I will be laughed, won't I? Rather than taking the risk to make myself feel embarrassed, why not I take the easiest path, which is to keep my mouth shut?
For people who uphold the reason one, there's only one explanation - you need to lower your ego way down. No one has the place or position to laugh or tease you (you know they don't), instead, they will be impressed by your guts regardless of whether you fail or succeed. No pain, no gain. Remember?

2) What will happen to current relationship if I speak it out? Will our friendship end?
A friendship that's unable to take on any challenges and is going to end like this,it does not fulfill the definition of  friendship. Whether it's a success or failure, true friendship never ends.

3) Let me have my time considering whether it's the suitable date, time or place to confess.
Do you consider how many steps you are going to take when you walk to your office or school? Do you consider of stepping in your right leg or left leg before going into a building? And do you even consider of taking how many breathe a day? They all come naturally, don't they? What I am trying to say is, if you feel right, do it. The more you hesitate, you won't do it, ever.

4) I feel that this person may be the one, but I can't be sure until further investigation.
It's good to have this sort of thinking whereby it will enhance the probability of making a better choice. Yet, some people take forever to do this. Do you have a list of people that are "K.I.V"? If you have one, throw the list away, as you know it very well that there won't be anyone suitable on the list. Your heart will tell you when you find that person. A greedy dog is the one that wants to stuff all bones into its mouth, but getting none at the end. Just like the investor who is indecisive on the stock that he is going to pick and invests nothing when the peak market ends. The point here is that, your heart will chose one that suits you the most, without any KIV or prolonged investigation needed.

One major reason of unrequited love (U.L) :
People don't know how you feel! You may think that it's obvious enough basing on whatever you did or said, but it may seems perfectly normal for the person who is receiving the communications. One thing need to keep in mind is that, not everyone is psychic and can read others' mind (if humans all have this ability, it'll be scary though!)

Solving the U.L problem:
As mentioned, confessing is not easy due to the lack of guts and boldness, especially for those shy, not outspoken and introverts. No worries, no matter how introvert you are, there's an easy way out, which is confession through love symbols (*blink*). Of course, you won't need to draw or colour any love shape symbol on paper, that'll be kinda too much for you, thus we will use something similar but of equivalent meaning to replace that “old-fashioned yet popular' symbol. Here are some of my favourite love symbols that are humble yet can effectively express the underlying meaning.

1) Maple Leaf
Popular in Eastern countries such as Japan and China (people who are not outspoken and always use symbols or gesture to express their opinions). Especially when the leaf turns red, it depicts more of the meaning within. It's a symbol of lovers.Just like the maple syrups, it symbolizes sweetness of love. My first favourite love symbol.

For those who don't know how a maple tree looks like, it's something like this. (don't pluck the wrong tree leaves XD)

2) Shell
Due to its exterior toughness, it symbolizes protective love. Suitable for the person (that you admire) who loves protective other half. Warning: not suitable for the person who loves freedom (he/she may think that you are trying to tie him/her up). But to think of it from the other perspective, the person would not mind if you bind him/her if he/she loves you, right? Nevertheless,a horse can't breath if you hold its bridle too tight.

3) 3 Leaves Clover
Clovers have always been seen as a symbol of luck. The first and second leaf represents fame and wealth while the third one is love. My second favourite love symbol.
There is also a 4 leaves clover, which is extremely rare, it symbolizes luck. The first three leaves have the same meaning as the three leaves clover, the last leaf represents health. A 4 leaves clover is suitable for those in need of encouragement and for patients as a sign of wishing them fast and full recovery.

4) Flowers
Suitable for ladies, but whether it works on men, it's up for you to investigate and with trial and error. The most popular flower always goes to rose.

5) Chocolates
It's popularity skyrocket especially on Valentine's Day. A real symbol of "sweetness", but cross finger for not having any appointments with the dentist in future.

6) The symbol between you both
Last but not least, and it's probably the most important and effective symbol, will be the one shared between both of you. What is more meaningful than receiving something that both of you treasure in your memories? Try recalling what's the special thing or moment that bonds the feelings, and you may hit the bullseye. This symbol, is totally up to you.

Symbols are always the preference choice for shy people who are not outspoken. They act as another form of effective communication, only if you are sensitive enough to realize. To avoid the person receiving your symbol not getting the meaning you want to express, after handing your symbol to him (or her), you can hint him to search for the meaning behind. Tell him to give you the same symbol as a form of acceptance, or do nothing if he rejects. Through this, it makes the whole confession process more interesting and less embarrassing.

The important point here is that, the symbols (or gifts) have to be exchanged between the 2 persons to make it as an official acceptance. Well, of course if the other party can choose not to exchange if he refuses the confession. Note that use these symbols only when you are serious, as they have the underlying meaning of an act of promise.

There are times when I'm unable to tell you that I love you, thus let me show you and please understand...my love. When you are willing to see with your heart, you will see it.

Heading Home or Path of No Return? 回家路或不归路?

On my way back home on a Thursday night, the night was way more bustling than any other weekday nights in the center of the city. An abrupt crashing sound interrupted the peace of the night. I did not manage to see the whole incident happen, but it can be seen that a motorist was numbly lying on the road, painfully gasping for air. He was heading straight while a car from the opposite direction that was taking a right turn neglected his existence and hit him in the bullseye. The negligent driver was asked to move his car away as it was in the way of the traffic (yes, heavy jam). While for the motorcyclist, he was left lying on the road, with the crowds surrounding him like surrounding some rare species on earth. I kept on ponder the reasons of the crowd keeping his lying position on the street, isn't it more dangerous to leave him there in the middle of the traffic? Was it bystander effect that caused the people in the society to be so cold blooded? Or was it because that people are afraid of moving him due to the possibility of fracturing his wounds?  I keep on thinking of the reason till now.

Still on my way home, a siren from the opposite direction of the road can be heard. While I was wondering and started to feel impress about the efficiency of the ambulance (thinking that it might be the one to fetch the injured motorcyclist lying on the road just now), I saw a fire truck was parked in front of a clinic (yes, a clinic indeed). Perhaps there's some fire incidents happened or some exotic animals like snake had crawled into the clinic? What was seen was the otherwise. A car had rammed into the clinic, luckily the driver did not ram exactly into the clinic from its door, but into its wall (have to praise the architect who built the solid building). The car bonnet was extremely deformed, which maybe the purpose of the fire truck to be there. And that ambulance which just passed by was sending the driver to hospital, instead of fetching the motorcyclist to hospital.....

This was my first experience of seeing two accidents in a row on my way back. Seems like negligence of road users was the main cause of all the road accidents. It was rather shocking to know that the people are becoming more and more negligent, and adding more hazard to other road users. This makes me think that in the near future, whether the risk of taking air plane is higher or the risk of road accidents is higher, placing other factors as constant. Car lovers, please love your life and others' life before your car.

My prayer for the victims of both accidents and may they recover soon. And for all road users, be more careful while you are using the road. It's you who decides whether it is a path back home or a path of no return.
